From a Single Loom to a Thousand Drapes
Saroza Silk began in a small Bengaluru workshop with one handloom, one weaver, and a simple belief — that handwoven silk deserved better than being copied in a factory.
What started as a promise to a handful of local weavers slowly grew into a home for master craftsmen from Kanchipuram, Banaras and Bengal, all weaving under one roof and one name.
A House Built on Trust, Not Trends
We don't chase seasons. We chase the weave that took three weeks to finish, the zari that catches light exactly right, and the drape that still looks new a decade later.
Every saree that leaves our atelier is inspected by hand, packed with care, and sent out with the same pride the weaver who made it would want you to feel.

How It's Made
Sourcing the Silk
Raw mulberry silk threads are hand-selected for strength, sheen and purity.
Dyeing by Hand
Threads are dyed in small batches using time-tested colour recipes, one shade at a time.
Setting the Loom
Master weavers set the warp thread by thread — just the setup can take days.
Handwoven, Thread by Thread
Each saree is woven on a traditional handloom, taking anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks.
Zari & Finishing
Real gold and silver zari is worked into the border and pallu, entirely by hand.
